About 3DPlayground
3DPlayground removes the biggest barrier to teaching with 3D content: software. Educators upload a 3D model, click anywhere on it to drop annotated hotspots with titles, descriptions, and audio, and share the result as a link — no installation required, viewable in any browser with full rotate, zoom, and pan controls.
An AI-assisted authoring layer analyses uploaded models and helps generate contextual annotations automatically, cutting the time it takes to turn a raw 3D asset into a structured learning experience. Annotations translate into 9 languages with text-to-speech, making the same model usable across multilingual classrooms.
Built in partnership with Future Nexus Labs at Centurion University, 3DPlayground has grown to 2,400+ educators and 14,000+ interactive experiences created, spanning subjects from molecular biology to engineering design.
